Healthy and Easy Recipe of Cauliflower Rice

  • Ingredients

o    4 cups cauliflower rice

o    1 tomatoes, diced

o    2 cloves garlic

o    2 green onion, sliced

o    ¼ teaspoon salt

o    ½ tablespoon chili powder

o    1/8 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

o    ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

o    ¼ teaspoon dried oregano

o    ½ teaspoon ground cumin

o    1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Cooking Instructions 
    1. Get a skillet. Mince your garlic and add it to the skillet. Pour the olive oil and mix it with the garlic. Use medium heat to sauté them together for around 1 minute. When the garlic become fragrant, you can continue to next step.
    2. Add the cauliflower rice and sauté them again for around 5 minutes. This is to make the cauliflower rice softer.
    3. After the rice becomes softer, add the tomato and all spices. Stir them together for around 5 minutes. The indicator is when the liquid is evaporated.
    4. Check the taste and add salt or spices in case it still does not suit your preference.

The steps and ingredients for the cauliflower rice are easy to follow. This does not involve long steps. Even, all ingredients are easy to obtain. This is totally a vegetarian menu since you do not find any animal-derived products. In term of taste, you get many spices to bring rich flavor into the rice. The list of ingredients uses the prepared cauliflower. When you want to make it by yourself, it is possible to do although it may take time and you may not get good sizes of granule. In term of nutrient and health aspect, you get complete nutrient from the recipe. You use olive oil that is very healthy when it comes to food that require you to sauté or fry the ingredients.
